Geographical Coverage
Our unique strength lies in the ability to work concurrently in multiple states within the country while ensuring prompt and quality deliverables to our clients. We have undertaken projects in both rural and urban settings (including marginalised and displaced populations) spanning the 6 geopolitical zones in the country.
Expertise in Conducting Large Scale Surveys 
Preston Associates has demonstrable expertise in carrying out various types of large-scale surveys in Health, Education, and Socio-economics. 
Preston Associates has also conducted large, multi-state health facility-based, school-based and community based surveys. Our project management approach is the PRINCE 2 method, in which all our core staff are certified, with some operating at Practitioner level. 
Experience in Providing Support for United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Funded Activities
Preston Associates was contracted by the MEL Activity of DevTech Systems, Inc. as one of its External Third Party Monitoring Firms, between 2018 to 2021. We provided on-the-ground, on-demand and systematic MEL support to the Health, Population and Nutrition as well as the Education teams, and implementing partners (IPs) of specific USAID/Nigeria funded activities. 
Experience in Providing Support for Department for International Development (DFID) Funded Activities
Preston Associates is a consortium member of the triad selected by DFID to deliver Third Party Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning services (DELVe) to track progress of their two flagship investments, LAFIYA (Health) and PLANE (Education), through 2026. This support involves building a strong evidence base for accountability, decision-making and learning. 
Value for Money (VfM)
Preston Associates is experienced in the execution of research  using a detailed VFM Indicator Framework which include:
1. Monetary indicators – which report the monetary value of a point on a programme’s results chain 
2. Quantitative indicators – which report how much (in numbers) a programme has achieved in relation to the associated cost; and
3. Qualitative indicators – which report the kind of change a programme has achieved 
Research Ethics
Preston Associates adheres to national and local laws, and standards for conducting research by identifying and fulfilling National Health Research Ethics Review Committee (NHREC) or international Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements or standards, depending on client preference, prior to the commencement of data collection. We also ensure that all data collectors are trained in ethical conduct.
Financial Management
Our Financial management systems and processes are in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standard. Preston Associates utilizes the SunSystem accounting software, which has a unified ledger, unrivalled multi-currency, multi-company and multi-dimensional analysis capabilities. Preston is also compliant with all business regulations and certifications required to operate legally and fully in Nigeria.
